Soft feathery foliage and a sweeping form adds to the grace and character of this hemlock. In spring, chartreuse green needles form at the tips of aged branches, welcoming the new year's prospects.
Hey, I'm Cole. My branches like to hang out a lot, and in spring I'll sprout new tips of green needles. When I age a little I'll eventually get silvery bark, which I prefer to think is like a merit badge. My light foliage will prefer full to partial sun, which means I’m a perfect fit for a slightly shady spot. Water me well, until you see my pot drip through the bottom, and then set me to dry. If possible, I prefer sleeping outside, especially in winter! Put me outside after November until spring.
